Cesar Marcondes

Cesar Marcondes is Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science Division of ITA (Aeronautics Institute of Technology) since 2018. Prior, he was Professor at Federal University of Sao Carlos (UFSCar) for 10 years. He has Bachelor’s degree from Londrina State University (UEL) and Master’s from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Finally, he holds a full Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He was also a Visiting Professor at Florida International University (FIU) from 2014 to 2015. Dr. Marcondes has a large experience in computer networks and computer security practice, with a focus on congestion control, BGP Security, Malware Analysis, Behavior-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Software Defined Networks (SDN), experimental networks for future internet, Machine Learning and Big Data for security and networks, and delay tolerant networks. His research group has lots of expertise in Cloud, SDN and Security Networking projects. He worked at Sun Microsystems in 2006 (nowadays, ORACLE) and also worked as a developer on Google Summer of Code in 2005 and 2008.
